Resiliency of Filipinos

Philippine is one of the countries in the world prone to different disasters. An archipelago of over 7,000 islands, Philippines is near the Pacific Ring of Fire and surrounded by bodies of water and that's why Philippines is prone to different disasters, such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunami and extreme temperature. But how do Filipinos deal with these problems and how resilient Filipinos to disaster.
To reduce the effects and impacts of a disaster, we Filipinos need to improve the disaster resilience of Philippines. We Filipinos hardly recovers from a disaster because of the size of the damage to properties and loss of life. Filipinos have practiced doing mañana habit, they already know that there is a disaster to come but they don't prepare and get ready. So the government conducts programs that will help peoples in times of disaster. DRRMC, NGO's, local NGO's and DENR are government agencies that help in suppresing the effects of a disaster. We must also have proper knowledge on these disasters and how to reduce the effect.
This are one of the things we can do to fight disasters and to be resilient when it comes to disaster. We also have to think positive that we can face these problems.
